Mary Ann is an instructor in the Counseling and Special Education Department.  Before coming to CMU, she spent 30 years in K-12 education as a special educator, teacher consultant, co-teacher, and general education teacher.  She has worked with students from all disability areas and grade levels.  Her interests include transition services for high school students, inclusion in the general curriculum, and teaching self-determination skills.

Mary Ann received her undergraduate degree from CMU and graduate degree in Learning Disabilities from WMU.  She is currently pursuing approval as a Director of Special Education.
